Ernie is the newest star to join us at Runninjacs.  He is a grandson of Ch. Baylock Cleo and the son of my boy Mooks.  Ernie has now joined the others in the show ring, where he has been holding his own, following on in his granny's and dad's footsteps.  He is a full on young fellow, chasing Sly around the yard during the day and lying next to me on the couch at night. 

Since hitting the show ring, Ernie has had 4 Baby Puppy In Groups, 1 Baby Puppy Sweepstake win and at the 2009 Royal Melbourne Show was in the final 10 lineup from an entry of 75 babies.  Not bad considering he was the only one representing terriers on the day!  On his first time in Minor Puppy he went Reserve Challenge in a line up of older dogs.

On the 15th November, 2009 at the Garden State Kennel Club, under Mr. H. Van Der Helm, Ernie was awarded his first Challenge & Best Of Breed over older dogs & bitches.  To finish off the day he then went on to win Minor Puppy In Group.  He has now accumulated 8 Minor Puppy In Groups and 1 MINOR PUPPY IN SHOW (2009 JRTCV Championship Show).  Ernie ended 2009 with a Challenge/Runner Best Of Breed and Minor Puppy In Group.  Roll on 2010!!!!! 

Well the young man has started 2010 with a BANG!!! - he is more than halfway to his Australian Championship and has amassed more class in group wins - with 5 Puppy In Groups and 1 Junior In Group so far. 

NEWS FLASH!!!!!  Ernie gained his Australian Championship at the Easter Weekend Shows here in Melbourne - Good Friday Amenities Show (unofficially), then went on to gain the extra 25 points needed to become an official Australian Champion at the Anzac Weekend (Central Victoria Canine Club) - thanks must go to the judges who have awarded him and for recognising the quality in this young man.

Ernie travelled to Queensland in June 2010 and got JUNIOR IN SHOW at The Jack Russell Terrier Club Of Qld (Open Show) - way to go!!!!

'PRADA'

Prada ....

Runninjacs welcomes "Prada" - who has joined my kennel.  Thanks to Pam Sullivan for allowing me to have her. 

She is a daughter of Runninjacs Blue Crush, Coffee (see her on the "Other Dogs" page), and the granddaugher of my Baylock Cleo (Cleo), her dad is Gr. Ch. Baylock Clayton, who did a lot of winning here in Victoria and then in Tasmania.  He lives in Tasmania with Daniel and Maree Aitchison, where he was shown to his Grand Championship, he is retired now. Gr. Ch. Baylock Clayton has crossed to the rainbow bridge, RIP Clayton.  

This little miss is full of attitude and a whirlwind of activity!!  She doesn't have a still bone in her body, though she does like a lot of cuddles.  I look forward to watching her grow from a feisty puppy into an outgoing feisty, cheeky miss.  She is now in the showring - and has been holding her own with the big girls. Prada is back with Pam Sullivan (Baylock Knls) and is having a lot of fun - she has also been out to the show ring and has picked up more points to her championship.

Prada was mated to Mooks and hopefully we will hear the pitter patter of little paws.  On the 22nd October, 2009 Prada became the proud mum of a little boy (and little girl who we lost, RIP). Watch for Runninjacs The Defiant One (Finn) entering the showring in early 2010 with Teneal Harrison doing the handling. Finn has made his debut into the showing arena - and what an entrance! Three shows on the long weekend in March and THREE BABY PUPPY IN GROUPS - what an entrance!!!
